If you were anywhere near social media in December and January, you would have seen all the lists being shared about how to maximize this new decade, how to make the most of 2020, how to be a new person etc etc
I figured I would let things calm down a bit before adding my two cents. The end of one year and the start of a new one is a great opportunity to take stock of where you are headed in life and to re-calibrate for the new year. Ultimately whether 2019 was a good or bad year for you, it is all part of this journey of life and all we can do is our best, trusting that things will work out in the end.
For me, 2019 was a year of personal, geographical and career transitions. Transitions have the capacity to shake you to your core and make you question your beliefs and assumptions. Transitions also exist to teach us lessons and usher us into our new era, our new normal.
Going into 2020, I want to build upon the lessons of 2019 and be the best business owner, coach, consultant, woman that I can be.
What does the end of 2019 signify for you and what is your intention for 2020? Please do share, I want to know what matters to you.
One of the biggest patterns we are seeing at Ada Offonry Coaching, are people who are seeking to transition from structured “known” careers into careers that are not as well defined. This can be quite scary…. the prospect of embarking on something that no one around you is doing or understands.
But I believe that this is where purpose unfolds. If you have a strong desire to move unto a certain path that others don’t see or understand, it could be because the path is yours to create. It has been so rewarding working with our clients to provide support on their journey as they step forward onto their new path with a mixture of fear and confidence.
So what is 2020 going to be for you? Are you considering a personal or professional transition? Have you decided on one? Do you know for sure that you are sick and tired of what you are doing now but unsure about what you could do next?
